White Tulip Watercolor Print

A dramatic, elegant white tulip on a dark background.

White flowers are so beautiful. I increased the drama of this particular watercolor painting by creating a dark, sumptuous background that really makes the tulip stand out. (Imagine a pearl necklace against a inky purple dress.)

It is a small print with a lot of impact.

I am thrilled with how this print turned out. The original painting was done on lovely textured watercolor paper with an irregular, deckled edge. The image has transferred beautifully onto the print and you really do get a sense of the original piece's texture and contour.
