Two Sparrow Feathers - Original Watercolor

This is a small watercolor study I did of two sparrow feathers.

I walk every day in nature and never come back empty-handed. My painting table is covered with bits of my nature collections, including these two sweet sparrow feathers.

I tried to portray both the softness and detail of each feather in my painting. I used soft tones of brown and gray.

Due to the detailed, delicate way I paint, I can spend hours and often days on one small painting.

The painting is lightly initialed on the front. I will title, sign and date your painting on its back.

I will mail your painting in a sturdy, rigid kraft envelope.

Most often, the colours in your painting will be more delicate than what is likely showing on your monitor.
