Painted Lady Butterfly Print

This watercolor painting is an homage to the beautiful painted lady butterflies (Vanessa cardui) that graced my garden this summer. What a privilege to welcome these delicate and lovely creatures.

My watercolor combines orange, warm browns and black tones. It is painted in my signature delicate and detailed style. It took me several days to complete.

This print is perfect for a butterfly lover or your favourite nature enthusiast.

I spend ages on my prints making sure that they are as close as possible to my original watercolors. I produce them in my studio on my Epson printer.

I want you to know that no butterflies were harmed in the creation of this painting! The butterfly you see in my painting and photos was found on the ground. Poor thing. I'm grateful for the opportunity of being able to examine it closely.
