Nasturtiums - Original Watercolor Painting

An original botanical watercolor painting of a nasturtium stem as well as a bud and petals. I have hand painted the word 'Nasturtium' under the main stem. This original watercolour is painted on exquisite deckle-edged Twinrocker watercolour paper.

I plant nasturtium seeds every spring along the edges of my vegetable beds. They are elegant, joyful flowers and are edible too! Painting a natural subject closely like this is a wonderful way to notice and appreciate all of its details.

I can spend hours and often days on one small painting because of the detailed, delicate way I paint.

I have lightly sign the painting in pencil on the front. I will title, sign and date your painting on its back. I will mail your painting in a sturdy, rigid kraft envelope.

Most often, the colours in your painting will be more delicate than what is likely showing on your monitor.
