Maine Beach Finds - Original Watercolor

This is an original watercolor I painted of a collection of beach treasures I gathered on a vacation in Jonesport, Maine. 

There are shells, sea glass, a shard of pottery and some seaweed, all painted in soft greens and neutral tones.

A soft, delicate image painted on lovely BFK Rives paper with Winsor & Newton professional grade watercolors. 

Paper measures 9 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches
The image measures 6 x 4 inches
The paper isn't a standard size but the image itself will fit under a mat with a 5 x 7 inch opening. 

I paint slowly, gradually building my washes and adding texture and detail. This image took me a few days to complete.
