Original Watercolor - Oak Leaf

This is a delicate original watercolor painting of an orange-copper oak leaf.

I love leaves and I love the autumn season. So many beautiful colors everywhere. I picked up this oak leaf on a walk and then brought it home to paint. I love its warm tones and its spiky, curly tips.

This original watercolor is painted with professional-grade Winsor and Newton paints on beautiful, luxuriously thick Fabriano 300 lb. hot-pressed paper.

Most often, the colours in your painting will be more delicate than what is likely showing on your monitor.
