Original Watercolor - Ginkgo Leaf

This is a delicate original watercolour painting of two ginkgo leaves.

We don't have a Ginkgo biloba tree but our neighbours do. I am always happy when some of the beautiful yellow leaves end up in our yard in the autumn.

For those who love history, the Ginkgo tree is considered to be a “living fossil” whose ancestors date back to the Jurassic period. As an artist, I love its leaves, their unique and elegant shape.

This original watercolour is painted with professional-grade Winsor and Newton paints on beautiful, luxuriously thick Fabriano 300 lb. hot-pressed paper.

Your painting will be packed carefully and mailed in a sturdy, rigid kraft envelope.

Most often, the colours in your painting will be more delicate than what is likely showing on your monitor.
